What are the causes of Dark Circles?

The main reason for dark circles is due to tiredness and inadequate sleep. Only these reasons are not the reason for the Dark Circles. There may be other conditions that cause dark circles.

Due to some Allergies also causes Dark circles. The anemic patient also gets dark circles due to iron deficiency.

Sometimes due to skin thinning under the eyes gets dark circles.

People who always go into sunlight without using spectacles or goggles also cause dark circles due to ultraviolet exposure to sunlight.

Dehydration or maybe due to thyroid conditions also get the dark circles.

Few people use regular eye drop treatment unnecessary this causes also dark circles.

Due to fungal infection or dermatitis gets dark circles. Dark circles can be hereditary.

Hyperpigmentation also causes dark circles. Dark circles are in the color of brown or black under the eyes.

Is any deficiency causes dark circles?

Due to iron deficiency dark circles appears under the eyes. If anyone is anemic, blood cells are unable to carry oxygen to tissues, and sometimes due to less blood circulation in the body, the dark circle appears.

How to remove dark circles Permanently?

You can remove dark circles by using simple home remedies. Some of the remedies do not work for some people but at least this remedy can help you to relax your eyes.

Today’s hectic routine is also the cause of appearing dark circles. Everyone does not get good sleep due to excessive workload. Due to inadequate diet and not taking care of our health affects our skin and starts appearing dark circles under the eyes.

Good Sleep – Taking good sleep is very important for overall health. If you will get good sleep, then the dark circle will be disappeared. At least 8hrs sleep is required daily.

Good diet – It is also important to take a good diet. Include more fruits and vegetables into the diet this helps in Vitamin deficiency. If you will eat proper and required vitamins for your body, it will reduce the dark circles.

Try to add Vitamin C food. Vitamin c food contains lots of antioxidants which help in minimizing the damage caused by free radicals. It also increases blood circulation which helps to get oxygen to your body tissues.

Strawberry, Lemon Juice, Amla Juice, Oranges are good sources of Vitamin C.

Papaya is also good for your eye health. Lycopene found in papaya helps to improve eye health. Cabbage, Tomatoes, Watermelon is also good to add to a diet for minimizing bad effects on your body.

Green vegetables are a good source of iron, so include this green vegetable in your diet to get good iron for your body. Due to Iron deficiency also, dark circles appear on the skin. Spinach is a good source of iron use it in your diet and get the benefit.

Vitamin E is also good vitamin for eye health. So, include Vitamin E food into your diet.  Almonds are a good source of Vitamin E. It decreases pigmentation and maintains moisturizer in the skin. Almonds contain antioxidants that help to reduce free radicals from the body.

Rich sources of Vitamin K also help in improving eye health. Include Vitamin K fruits like pomegranate and tomatoes. If you will eat it on regular basis will help in reducing dark circles under the eyes.

So, eat more fruits and vegetables like tomato, pomegranate, spinach, papaya, oranges, lemon, amla, carrots and reduce your dark circle and eye wrinkles under the eyes.

Drink plenty of water – drink water as per your body requirement. At least 8 to 9 glasses of water daily help to hydrate your body. Water helps in carrying oxygen to your body.

Exercise – Exercise your eyes daily like some movements upward and downward direction. This will help to increase blood circulation under the eyes.

Eye Massage – Massage your stressed eye areas with the help of Aroma oils. You can also use Olive oil or coconut oil to massage. This will help you to feel relax in your eyes and you will get good sleep.

Use Electronics devices as per your requirement – Due to the use of Electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, tv eyes feel tired. So, try to limit the use of electronic devices. Avoid unnecessary use of mobile and digital games.

Natural ways to get rid of Dark Circles under Eyes.

Cucumber

Keep cucumber on your eyes before you go to bed for sleep. Cut the cucumber and get the slices and keep it on the eyes. This will calm your blood vessels under the eyes.

Due to the cooling effect of cucumber, the eyes get relaxed and reduce the stress of the eyes. Due to the high content of vitamins and minerals, it nourishes the eyes and moisturizes the under-eyes skin. This helps to reduce your under-eyes darkness.

Facial – Due to poor circulation, under-eye dark circles appear. You can use facial treatments to treat dark circles. Using essential oils or some massage techniques, dark circles can be reduced.

Antioxidant products – Herbal or natural products that contain antioxidants also help in reducing dark circles.

Cold compress – The use of cold compress also helps in reducing dark circles. Applying it shrinks blood vessels and reduces inflammation.

Take a towel or napkin and dip it into cold water, then cover the skin under the eyes with the towel. Keep it for 20 to 30 minutes. If the towel becomes warm, again rewash it with cold water and reapply it.

Tea or coffee Bags also helps to reduce dark circles and eye puffiness. Caffeine which is a good antioxidant helps in the reduction of the eye’s dark circles.

You can use cold tea or coffee bags to get good results. Cooling effects destress the tissues of blood vessels and improve blood circulation under the eye.

Use of cold Milk – A dairy product like Milk is a good source of Vitamin A and protein. Soak cotton into raw milk (Cold Milk) and apply it to your Eye. Keep it for 20 to 30 minutes. Retinoids help in looking skin bright and young.

Vitamin E Oil – You can massage your under-eye area using vitamin E oil or Almond oil which helps in covering the deficiency of vitamin E in the Skin. It will moisturize your skin and your eyes will look healthy.

Coconut Oil – Coconut oil is an anti-inflammatory source and is effective in lightening the skin. Massage your eyes daily using Coconut Oil and, in few days, you will find that your Under eye skin is lightened and looking fresh.

Massage your under-eye skin winger the fingers in a round shape in the clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.

Eat more dark chocolate – Dark chocolate prevents the harmful effects of UV radiation. It slows down the aging process. Dark chocolate is a good source of flavanol which helps to protect from damage from radiation.

Eat more Omega3 food – Use Flaxseeds in your diet which helps to increase Omega3. Walnut is also a good source of Omega 3. This improves blood flow to the skin.

Turmeric

Due to the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties found in turmeric, it helps also reducing dark circles from your under eyes. Use it with Pineapple juice and apply it with the help of cotton for 15 to 20 mins.

Tomatoes

Tomato is a good source of Vitamin C and lycopene. Lycopene helps in soften and making the skin supple. And decreases the dark circles from the eyes.

As tomato gives good effects in removing tan skin. Apply tomato juice on cotton and keep cotton balls on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. This will help to rejuvenate your skin and removes dead skin naturally. So tanning effect of skin will be reduced.

Potatoes

Potato is a great source for synthesizing the effect of collagen to promote younger and healthy skin. It also improves the color of skin naturally.

Potato gives calming effects to the eyes and reduces the pigmentation of the skin. Potato has a natural bleaching property which helps to reduce the dark color of under eyes.

Apply potato slices on the Eye and keep it for 10 to 15 mins, then wash the eyes with cold water. This relaxes your eyes and removes Eye’s stress.
